Hydraulic Filter Change
Here is the location of the Hydraulic Filter:

When changing the filter, it was recommended that the new filter be filled with oil first and tightened with a strap wrench when installed. The system then needs to be purged of air. First disconnect the multipin connector shown below. That will prevent the engine from starting (which would be bad because you could get air in the wheel motor circuit). |

Then a hose must be connected to the purge valve (see location below). Then turn the ignition switch and crank the starter for 10 seconds. Wait 20 seconds before repeating. Keep repeating until no more air exits the hose. If the amount of air seems to increase, you likely have a bad gasket seal at the filter. |
